Oboy Siki, the veteran actor in the Kumawood movie industry has been called out by director and colleague in the industry, Nana Kofi Owusu who is popularly known as ‘O John’ for creating division amongst Kumawood stars instead of bringing them together.

According to the director, Oboy Sika’s envy and bitterness he holds in his heart has led to the division and subsequent downfall of certain actors including the legendary Agya Koo and Rose mensah, popularly called Kyeiwaa who now lives in the diaspora and has been off the scene for sometime.

According to the director, the veteran recently caused a rift between Kwadjo Nkansah Liwin and Ras hene who has built a solid fame for himself outside the Kumawood industry.

Oboy Siki and some Kumawood actors including some Directors and producers have planned to bring down Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin  for reigning as Kumawood best actor for so many years. There is [a] deliberate attempt by Oboy Siki with the support from some actors, producers and directors to bring down actors in the industry” exclaimed by the movie director in an interview.

Nana Kofi Owusu would also add “The spirit of ‘bring him down and pull him down’ caused the downfall of the Kumawood industry. They did the same thing to Agya Koo, Kwaku Manu, Kyeiwaa and other popular actors in the industry but they now hate Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin because he has failed to fall in their trap”

The director would further stress the division the veteran actor has succeeded in creating instead of the wisdom he could impact on the younger generation “Oboy Siki who is supposed to advice we the young ones in the industry has succeeded in creating confusion between Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin and AkaEbenezer team”
