The leading smartphone brand in Ghana, TECNO has launched its newest CAMON 20 series.
TECNO held a stunning event on May 8, 2023, at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in collaboration with Telecommunication Giants, MTN to introduce the industry’s first CAMON PUZZLE deconstructionist design and the most recent “Magic Skin” material smartphone.
Ghanaian actor, Adjetey Anang, the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Hon. Micheal Okyere Baafi, Members of the media, tech bloggers, and representatives from MTN, NCA, and other organizations attended the launch event.
TECNO gave Stonebwoy a “certificate of appreciation” at the CAMON 20 launch ceremony in honor of his steadfast support of the company over the years and his strong will and passion.
At the event launch, TECNO highlighted new features of the CAMON 20 series which includes the Steady Night Portrait Video feature (video stability), Real-time SSF of 5000 times/second, 50MP light chaser ultra-sensing (RGBW) sensor + 7 lens crystal clear camera module, and a Professional wide-angle camera: 108MP wide-angle and macro camera, the highest-definition in the industry. TECNO also introduced the newest “Magic Sin” material technology that is waterproof, heat, cold, stain and abrasion resistant.
Senior Manager of Commercial Planning and Analytics, MTN Ghana, Guido Sopiimeh stated that MTN and Tecno have collaborated to advance the digital agenda by connecting customers via smartphones and dependable internet access.
“MTN Ghana has partnered with Tecno Ghana to provide a variety of affordable products for our customers. This is because we know the main barrier to this is affordability. With this particular innovation, any customer who purchases a device will receive 2GB of free unlimited internet. This is to enable them to enjoy the internet in addition to the features of the newly outdoored Camon 20 series” he said.
The brand ambassador for TECNO, Stonebwoy ended the launch event with a thrilling performance hosted by Award – winning media personality, Naa Ashorkor.
