New food items on sale – Agric Ministry tells Ghanaians [Photos]

The Ministry for Food and Agriculture has expanded its Planting for and Food and Jobs market to include cabbage, yams, carrot, pepper, spring onions, cucumbers and rice.

The initiative, which began with plantain bunches on Friday, November 11, is currently in its third day.

Numerous people rushed to the venue on Monday to buy plantain and yam at lower prices.

The transportation of the low-cost food items to Accra for sale was organized by the government and the Ministry.
