The multi-talented Ghanaian singer Eugene Marfo, well known as Kuami Eugene was recently said to have departed Lynx Entertainment, the label he grew up with, for unspecified reasons.
This comes after Kuami Eugene tweeted that he had joined a new family called Empire Africa and was looking forward to making more progress in the music industry.
Lynx Entertainment has now publicly addressed the agreement reached between the Afro-Highlife musician and Empire Africa.
According to the label, Kuami Eugene and Empire Africa simply entered into a strategic partnership deal.
Again, the record label stated that, the partnership will broaden the musician’s horizons, propel him to recognition, aid him in breaking global boundaries.
“Lynx Entertainment is delighted to announce that it has inked a deal with EMPIRE to work on the project of one of Ghana’s most commercially successful acts, Kuami Eugene.
This new strategic partnership will see the 2020 Ghana Music Awards ‘Artiste of the Year’ expand his horizons as he takes on the world with his music” part of the statement read.
