Kumawood actress Borga Sylvia has disclosed why she kissed Nana Ama McBrown during the funeral of her (Sylvia) sister in January 2023.

Recall that a video popped up on social media where Borga Sylvia was kissing Nana Ama McBrown passionately during the funeral of her late sister.

During an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on The Delay Show, Sandra Adu well known as Borga Sylvia stated that she was surprised that she read stories online where bloggers were spreading the video and articles.

According to her, a kiss is a common gesture of greeting a friend or close associate, hence the hullabaloo that greeted her kiss to McBrown was misplaced.

“I gave her a hug. It’s like meeting your friend, giving her a hug and a peck; that’s what happened,” Borga Sylvia said. “In this industry, you hear stuff about you and you know it’s untrue so I wasn’t surprised.”

Speaking about the demise of her sister, Borga Sylvia said Cynthia Amankwa Gyamfi fell sick for less than a month before she finally kicked the bucket.

“It’s been three years since my mother died. My sister was not sick during my mother’s funeral,” Borga Sylvia said. “She became sick for less than a month and died.”
