Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu, a well-known media and entertainment entrepreneur, has formally began his political career by launching his candidacy for the Okaikoi Central parliamentary seat on the ticket of the oppositional National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The CEO of 3 Music Network is seeking support from NDC delegates on May 13, 2023, in order to stand as the party’s candidate in the general elections in December 2024.
The 37-year-old followed through on his pledge to file his nomination on Monday, March 2023 for the upcoming parliamentary primaries.
If he gets the nod of the NDC delegates to represent the party in 2024, he will be battling Patrick Yaw Boamah, the incumbent MP for Okaikoi Central for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
