The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Members of Parliament (MPs) are ready to defend and protect the sanctity of Ghana’s democracy with their lives, A.B.A Fuseini has said.
“If we [NDC] have to die to defend this democracy we will do it. We would not allow anyone to suppress us,” the Sagnarigu MP said in an interview with Joy News.
According to Fuseini, the opposition law makers would double down on the resolve to fight any form of electoral injustice against the NDC.
The NDC MPs led by the Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, brawled with the police after they were barred from petitioning the chairperson of the EC, over the Techiman South Parliamentary seat which was declared in favour of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
