Twitter suspends Medikal’s account for impersonating Prez. Akufo-Addo

Ghanaian rapper, Medikal’s Twitter account has been suspended.

This follows a tweet by the CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk that “any Twitter handle engaging in impersonation without clearly specifying ‘parody’ will be permanently suspended.”

Subsequently, Medikal replaced his profile photo with the photograph of President Nana Akufo Addo.

He also changed his username to ‘Mr.President’ and failed to state that it is a parody account and not affiliated with the Ghanaian president.

This was followed by a swift block and suspension of the said account.

We’re yet to know if the rapper will be pardoned and recover his account with over 320,000 followers back.
