Ghanaian chef Faila begins 120hour cook-a-thon to break Guinness World Record

Guinness World Record cook-a-thon attempt by Ghanaian chef Abdul-Razak Failatu is underway in Tamale in the Northern Region.

Chef Failatu’s attempt for the longest cooking marathon by an individual began on the eve of the New Year 2024.

She aims to cook for an astounding 120 hours to break the current Guinness cook-a-thon record held by Irish chef Alan Fisher, who cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes.

She is working from the Modern City Hotel in Tamale.
