The Coalition of Domestic Election Observers(CODEO) has urged the general public to remain calm and wait for the declaration of the final results from the Electoral Commission (EC).
From its official page on Facebook, it stated that Ghanaians should remain calm and allow the Electoral Commission to undertake its lawful duties, collate results and declare results of the Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
Accordingly, CODEO condemns attempts by political parties rushing to declare results before the EC’s official announcement.
However, they urge all political parties and citizens to be law-abiding and remain calm as we wait on the EC to complete it’s work and declare the official results.
