International streaming service Netflix has removed the South African movie titled “Slay” from it’s platform.
However, the removal came after Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay threatened to sue producers of the movie for using her song without permission or authorization.
Meanwhile, Wendy Shay shared an excerpt from the movie.
What’s more, she lamented the fact that her song, “All For You” was used in the song without her knowledge.
Likewise, Wendy Shay called on the producers to do the needful or face her in court.
Again, she took to her Instagram page and wrote as sighted by bibinionline.com;
“So, I watched this movie last night on Netflix and my song, ‘All for you’ was featured without my consent or that of my management. Producers of the movie ‘Slay’, it is a crime to use someone’s intellectual property without her consent. Kindly do the needful or i will see y’all in court.”

After the complaint, Netflix flagged the movie and removed it from its platform.
The movie produced by Elvis Chucks features some Ghanaian and Nollywood actors including Ramsey Noah, Kalybos and Bismark The Joke.
