The Ghana Police Service have launched a manhunt for those responsible for assaulting Nsoatreman FC’s coach, Maxwell Konadu, after their match against Bofoakwa Tano in Sunyani on Sunday.

The former Kotoko coach was reportedly beaten to a pulp after a goalless draw in a matchday 11 encounter at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

Konadu’s ordeal became scary when reports suggested he was unconscious after the incident. However, he is said to have gained consciousness and responding to treatment.
