A market woman has been seen wearing nose mask on her forehead at the Madina market in Accra and she cited an interesting reason for her action.
The middle-aged lady revealed that the mask is only worn on her forehead at noon. She said this during a market survey interview conducted by some journalists.
“In the morning when I start work, I use it to cover both my mouth and nose but in the afternoon, it gets wet with sweat and smelly so I push it onto my forehead,” she explained.
In spite of the discomfort normally with the nose mask, experts have advised strongly that it is often the best way to defend itself against coronavirus.
Below is the current update in Ghana according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
