Kumawood Star Kwaku Manu has confirmed that before having the chance to be featured in his first-ever movie, he had to pay a sum of ¢15.00 to famous actor Agya Koo born Kofi Adu.
Kwaku Manu, who did not elaborate on whether the money paid in the film to his godfather was a payoff or initiation money, maintained that he paid the amount to get the chance to play a part in a film.
In an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com, the comedian speaking on Kantanka TV noted that he was one of the founders of ‘Tete Mofra’ Production’s film trainees for Agya Koo.
