Overall, the latest virus variant is officially found in Ghana, South Africa, Zambia and Botswana.
The Ghana Medical Association has urged the government, in case of recent rises, to reimpose restrictions if not a lockdown.
In the meantime, the Minister ofinformation, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah clarified that if cases continue to increase, a national lockout will occur.
