The leader of the NDC Caucus, Haruna Iddrisu held a press conference to discuss matters on who holds the majority in Parliament today.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Caucus in Parliament says the letter written by the Fomena MP to the Speaker of Parliament indicating his willingness to work with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) does not give them 138 seats or majority numbers in the 8th Parliament.
The independent candidate, Hon. Andrews Asiamah Amoako wrote a letter to the newly elect speaker of the 8th parliament, Alban Bagbin declaring to do business with the NPP Caucus.
At a press conference on Thursday, January 14 the leader of the NDC Caucus in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu noted that the letter by Fomena MP does not mean he is joining the NPP.
