Many shops located at Kwame Nrumah Circle in Accra are on fire following an outbreak on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
The fire is said to have started at dawn around 2:30am.
From an eyewitnesses account, the fire has been raging on for hours and has left residents of the area and shop owners at the market in shock.
Although the cause of the fire remains unknown, from a live coverage on UTV and monitored by bibinionline.com, shows the fire is spreading to other parts of the market.
Already, a crowd has gathered at the scene along with personnel from the police and fire service.
However, no deaths or injuries is recorded, eyewitnesses say large quantities of goods of assorted kind belonging to traders were lost along with huge sums of money.
