Ghanaian musician Peter Famiyeh Bozah, known by the stage name as Fameye has debunked reports of his arrest for driving an unlicensed car.
Ola Michael, radio show host, was the first person to announce the arrest of the artist, the reason why he could not show up at his scheduled interview.
Nevertheless, the ‘Nothing I Get’ hitmaker says that he had not violated the law which warrants his arrest. He said this in a video posted to his Facebook wall.
While Fameye confirmed that the police actually stopped him, he considered his meeting with them to be interpreted wrongly.
He clarified that his interview with Ola Michael was interrupted, adding that his contact with the police took longer than he expected.
The video he shot with the police was intended only to inform Ola Michael of his delay and to show evidence that the police had stopped him.
Unfortunately, this has been incorrectly interpreted by the public as having been arrested.
Therefore, Fameye has called on his fans to ignore the news and told them that he was fine and that the matter was settled without further problems with the police.
